Maple is very hard and is often used wherever a very durable surface is needed such as cutting boards, basketball courts and bowling alleys. The grain is fine and generally an even texture. The color is white to cream to yellow, sometimes with a red cast.

This listing provides photos of both stained and unstained Maple wood, all finished with Tung Oil.

Purchase of this listing provides 2 pieces of wood, each finished on 2 sides. You can request 2 different species with 2 different stains for each. You will receive a total of 2 pieces of wood, with 2 stains (or no stain) on each. Please type a note with your choices.

We only use solid hardwood from Appalachia USA. Wood is a natural product and takes stains in different ways. Final color depends on many factors and we cannot guarantee an exact color match between your sample, other Etsy photos and future furniture orders.

All wood samples are finished with Tung Oil after stain is applied.
