Hand crafted in Appalachia USA from solid Cherry, a very popular and durable wood for high quality furniture. The drawer box bottoms and cabinet back are high quality 1/4" plywood. Drawer boxes are a light color wood.

We have one table in stock, 20"wide x 16"deep x 26" tall. Cherry with natural tung oil finish.
Top of the board at base to bottom of drawer box = 9.125"
Drawer face = 9.25"
Cubby opening = 5"

The optional support post is moveable for use on the left or right side of a bed with drawers. The table is designed to allow underbed drawers to open while the table is in place.

We recommend using the support post for the outer corner, but it is optional. The table will be damaged if a heavy object is on top, and will not hold a person's body weight. The support post would help prevent damage if someone used the corner of the table as a support to hold onto when putting on shoes or the like, but it is not intended as a seat.

If you use this with a bed that has the bottom of the drawer faces about 2.5" above the floor or more, the drawers will pass over the base. This base has a .75" thick riser under the .875" thick bottom board. See photo 10. The riser could be removed if your drawers are closer to the floor than 2.5". Please send a message about your bed drawer clearance and we can see how to make sure this table will work for you.

Most furniture in high priced stores is made of pressed materials with thin veneers. Such materials are easily damaged and are difficult to repair. They also often give off unhealthy fumes.
