Hand crafted in Appalachia USA from solid hardwood (cherry, oak, maple, ash, walnut (walnut adds cost)). These are very popular and durable woods for high quality furniture. No veneers or compressed particle boards are used. The wood that is not normally seen (such as for slats) is a different hardwood species.

Then type a note at the bottom left of the order form stating any options and variations you request, including wood species and color, to make this best for you. If you see a desired special feature in any photo, include that request in your added written note. We will send a separate invoice for the cost of your changes to the listing. NbFnN01 is shown in photos 1 through 5. The listing price is for natural wood color finished with Tung Oil. This creates a beautiful natural bed. For an additional $100, you can choose from a wide range of colors of stain. The first three photos show cherry wood with a dark walnut color added finished with Tung oil.

The bed listed is for use without box springs. The mattress rests on 20 slats. The top of the slats is 1" below the top of the sides.

The bed in the photos has side boards that are 6" tall. You can request a different height at additional cost.

The bed is about 2.5" wider than your mattress and about 2.75" longer than your mattress standard dimensions.

The queen, king, and Cal king sizes have a center support under the slats. The center support beam has 4 short legs that go to the floor.

The bed is custom made for you. You can request almost any change that you would like.

The bed will be configured for a mattress resting on 20 slats spaced about 1.5". The top of the slats is about 1" below the top of the sides. A center support beam will be under the slats for the queen and larger sizes. The beam will have 4 legs to the floor.

The height of the top of the sides off the floor is about 6". This is the standard for this listing. For a little higher price you can request taller side boards. Send a message through Etsy asking for the price.

The bed is a platform configuration for use without box springs.

The head posts are about 38" tall and are about 2.75" square. The floor to top of the headboard arch measures about 42.75". The arch is about 5" higher than where the headboard intersects with the post.

The bed is custom made for you. You can request almost any change that you would like.

Most furniture in high priced stores is made of pressed materials with thin veneers. Such materials are easily damaged and are difficult to repair. They also often give off unhealthy fumes.

The cost of shipping is included in the listing price for shipping to a location in the 48 states that can be reached by the delivery truck. If your location is different, please ask us to suggest a shipping solution for you. A quote for shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, or Canada can be provided upon request or you can use a freight forwarder and ask us to ship to the forwarder.

Wood is God's natural creation and as a result grain patterns and variation in color and character in the wood are different in each piece of furniture and will not be a match with the listing photos. The unique color, grain and appearance are part of the unique one-of-a-kind qualities of your furniture.

Beds are shipped in pieces that lay flat in a box and require assembly. This enables better protection of the product and lower shipping costs. Detailed instructions are provided. Dressers, desks, shelves, and bedside tables ship fully assembled except for some that need to be attached to a wall and a few that have removable legs.
