Hand crafted in Appalachia USA from solid hardwood (cherry, oak, maple, walnut (walnut is added cost.)). These are very popular and durable woods for high quality furniture. No veneers or compressed particle boards are used. The wood that is not normally seen (such as for slats) is a different hardwood species. Drawer bottoms are of high quality 1/4" plywood.

Some added cost items are invoiced separately.

When placing your order please be sure to use the SKU (Letters and numbers ID) of the item of your choice to get the correct style and price. Then type a note at the bottom left of the order form stating any options and variations you request, including wood species and color, to make this best for you. If you see a desired special feature in any photo, include that request in your added written note. We will send a separate invoice for the cost of your changes to the listing. NdRnV08 is shown in photos 1, 2, 3. This bed is the similar to the NdRnV07 listing but this bed has a different head end and foot end design.

The bed is custom made for you. The listing price is for natural wood color finished with Tung Oil. This creates a beautiful natural bed. For $200 added I can apply a wide range of colors.

The bed is a platform configuration for use without box springs. The bed is configured for a mattress resting on slats about 1" below the top of the sides. The bed has a center support under the slats that is not shown in the photos. The space between the slats is about 1.5". 20 slats are provided. The height of the top of the slats is about 16".

The height from the floor to the bottom of the side and foot board is small. The height of the side top is about 17" above the floor.

The side frames and foot board and upper head board are about 1.75" thick at the top. The upper head board is about 25" tall with its top about 47" above the floor.

The head posts are 48" tall. The head and foot posts are about 2.875" square.

The bed has two drawers pulling out of each side. The 4 drawers glide on side mount steel ball bearing drawer slides that extend out about 28" for a queen or larger bed. The drawer boxes are about 11" tall for all sizes and are about 36" long x 25" wide for a king size.

The bed is about 5" wider than your mattress and about 8" longer than your mattress.

You can request drawers at the head end instead of the cubby for an added cost. Please send us a note in Etsy to request that cost.

NdRnV01 is shown in photos 4, 5, and 6. The bed is a platform configuration for use without box springs. The bed is configured for a mattress resting on slats about 1" lower than the top of the sides. The queen and larger bed sizes have a center support under the slats that is not shown in the photos. The space between the slats is about 1.5". 20 slats are provided. The height of the top of the slats is about 18" in the photo but I can make the height what is best for you. With the 18" height the drawer boxes are about 11.5" tall. The drawer boxes are about 23.5" wide and about half of the width of the bed long.

The bed is about 4.5" wider than your mattress and about 9" longer than your mattress. The top of the head posts are about 48" above the floor.

NdFvV01 is shown in photos 9 and 10. It has the same style headboard as the other 3 listings but is a cantilever style bed. The cantilever is about 3" out from the drawer face.

The queen and larger bed sizes have a center support under the slats that is not shown in the photos. The space between the slats is about 1.5". 20 slats are provided.

The height of the top of the slats is about 13" in the first 5 photos but our standard is now 17". The remaining photos show top of slats about 17" above the floor. 17" with top of slats at side frame top is what you will receive unless you request a different height.

The side frame is about 4" tall with its bottom about 13" above the floor.

The top of the head board is about 47" above the floor.

Most furniture in high priced stores is made of pressed materials with thin veneers. Such materials are easily damaged and are difficult to repair. They also often give off unhealthy fumes.

The cost of shipping is included in the listing price for shipping to a location in the 48 states that can be reached by the delivery truck. If your location is different, please ask us to suggest a shipping solution for you.. A quote for shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, or Canada can be provided upon request or you can use a freight forwarder and ask us to ship to the forwarder.

Our wood is from the forests in the Appalachian region of the United States that have been harvested for hundreds of years. Wood is God's natural creation and as a result grain patterns and variation in color and character in the wood are different in each piece of furniture and will not be a match with the listing photos. The unique color, grain and appearance are part of the unique one-of-a-kind qualities of your furniture.

Beds are shipped in pieces that lay flat in a box and require assembly. This enables better protection of the product and lower shipping costs. Detailed instructions are provided. Dressers, desks, shelves, and bedside tables ship fully assembled except for some that need to be attached to a wall and a few that have removable legs.
